They have sought out the "weak" investors. You know the mum and dad types who buy some shares and put a stop loss because that is what is advised as sensible investing. They are out working and head to pick up kids from child care and get home to see their stop loss has been triggered.
Then what do you do? The fundamentals are the same.
At least we have a watchdog keeping an eye out against illegal activity woof woof meow.
The mafia and bikies and other criminal entities don't waste their time on such activities. Not on the ASX anyway.
Banks or reputable brokers wouldn't take advantage of their own privvy information.
