    Nonetheless.

    Noaa's package includes a lot of assumptions.

    As you have stated yourself many times. You live at the surface. Not up in the sky.

    You should check out how they make up the data for areas they don't get land data from. They then apply the assumed temperature across that and other grid sections.

    this is your highly accurate data base you keep rambling on about. read your own link it actually tells you!

    Remember on NASA GISS they don't even have data for Southern Africa. yet somehow these guys do.
    Maybe they have used satellite data or even radio sonde data from neighbouring grid sections to "assume" what 1/2 of Africa is doing.

    Anyway record temps just means it got warm. So. We have had 1000s-10s of thousands of years of constant warming / cooling.
    big deal.
