I see Gennaretti 2014 is one of the first charts/papers on the web site. We explained why that was an odd ball last week.
Looking at another, wunsch und heimbach (2014), it's for deep ocean temp differences between 2011 and 1992. That's ocean depths below 2 km. Not too surprised that's not showing much warming. In fact I'm impressed how much it does show. And the light blue shading includes no change.
