We have over 10 to 12 years of contraction ahead of us in the western world.
The Australian Property market will lose 40% minimum IMO, I wonder how any bank's balance sheet will look after that happens (take your cue from the US banks which have had to deal with a 20% fall this time ... there is more on the way once the fiscal excitement wears off and the last man standing falls ie: the Fed/Government).
And just for good measure, after a short term pick up in the market, let's say to Sept this year (arbitrary), the stock market will lose another 50% as everyone realises there is no way to fix this mess by borrowing more money and giving it away.
ANZ in 4 years ... $7. Maybe less.
