I quess we all hope that if there is to be a takeover, then there will be several biders competing. Obviously the technology would be very useful to BHP and Multiserve. But presumably BHP & Onesteel are also major customers of Multiserve. Would they bite the hand that feds them, or would they themselves enter into negotiations with BHP (or Onesteel), allowing them to mount a takeover uncontested, knowing that when they have control, BHP will allow them a slice of the pie? Any thoughts or comments?
