    The 50% Royalty Rebate for 12 month, is required to be repaid within 2 years.
    It's actually deferral not rebate!

    12Mt x US$70 x (US$70/US$90) / 0.82FX x Royalty rate 7.5% x 50% rebate = A$30m

    AGO will get $30m "rebate" to be repaid within 2 years.
    In fact, It's likely getting $30m interest free short term loan.
