Pity really but I have always likened the weather to living with a woman,changeable and unpredictable but always interesting and sometimes downright exciting!

I'm thinking it's like the lotto: You know it's going to be drawn every day, you just don't know the numbers.

You could reasonably say that every day is "extreme" because you can't remember the last time those numbers came up.
