Tech leads ASX to record high

The Australian sharemarket closed at a new record high on Friday, extending its strong run of form, as Victoria exited its two-week lockdown.

Tech stocks were the best performers on the local sharemarket in the last week, playing catch up after a disappointing few weeks.
The S&P/ASX 200 Index climbed 16.9 points, or 0.2 per cent, to 7312.3 this week, supported by a 9.8 points, or 0.1 per cent, rise on Friday...
