I will add only one thought - BIGSKY's reference to the large short position held by the banksters. Paper isnt the only way they hold a gold position - their biggest position by far is physical bullion. In fact it overwhelms their paper position, by design. Of course, I dont know that for sure, I take Stewart Thompson's advice on this point.
