    Its nice when people post facts. Its not going to suddenly get 'dumped' by instos nor 'pumped' by instos/retail investors like us. Every buyer has a seller - current demand however would be linked to the fact that index funds will now require this stock in their portfolio. Not long ago this was outside the ASX200, now it is part of the ASX200 & in all likelihood will become part of the ASX100. This means many funds will be required to hold a position in this stock.

    Efficient markets theory says the market knows everything available at the time & the price is right based on this information. Meaning something can change tomorrow & the stock could be worth half as much, or 10 % more or exactly what it is now. Market manipulation certainly exists - but with buyers & sellers in every transaction means that if there is price manipulation, there is a winner & loser out of this manipulation.
