A lot of retailers generate 25% to 30% of their annual turnover during the
Christmas period. Come the end of December, sales and share price
will reach a crescendo. Oct/Nov/Dec 18 sales may well be higher than
Jan/Feb/Mch 19. This is part of the retail cycle, remembering Feb
is generally known as the "death zone" for retail sales. It will not
mean Afterpay has run out of puff. Should Jan/Feb/Mch sales be ahead
of the previous quarter, then you really are on a winner.
