    Treasury predicts geothermal production of 5000-9500MW in Australia by 2050 (13%-23% of Australia's predicted power needs):

    I read about this a while back but it was in a hard copy paper. Thought I'd post the link for y'all, seems I stumbled over it again.

    Of all the research I've done into geothermal in Australia, this is one of my more exciting finds.

    Hopefully PTR will produce the historic first 3.75MW of this 9500MW next year.

    Anyone care to have a crack at a rough valuation for PTR in 2050 if the industry did get to this size, and if current ratios of market cap (between ASX listed geo companies) continued?
