    We need a new and open method of calculating employment and unemployment.

    I am not sure how it is calculated, but I think it goes something like a sample set of people are phoned and asked if they worked 1 hr of paid employment in the last week, which is then extrapolated out across the country.

    Does any one know how it is really done.
