I agree that selling 500k shares into this market at 12 cents is not something I would consider doing, nor can I imagine, really, the mind set of anyone who would do such a short-sighted thing.

But, maybe it is someone who just got a really strong tip on a mining stock and wants to go for that prospect just now, and maybe come back to MBP in a week or two. Or maybe not.

There is no arguing that the share price of MBP has been flat for quite a while. Frankly, I have expected that speculative buying would come into this share ahead of the announcement, taking the price to 20 cents or so. It doesn't seem to be happening, and that may be discouraging investors not intending to hold through the coming halt.

I don't really know how these short term traders make these decsions.

I bought this stock in the expectation of future royalty income flow into MBP sustaining a share price maybe four or five years down the road that will be somewhere north of $5.00 a share.
