Venus Update on Court Proceedings

Further to its announcement of 10 October 2019 concerning the proceedings against
Spectrum Metals Limited (Spectrum), DJ Carmichael Pty Limited, Mr Paul Adams, Mr Davide
Bosio and Zebra Minerals Pty Ltd (Zebra Minerals), Venus Metals Corporation Limited
(ASX:VMC) (Venus Metals or Company) confirms that on Thursday, 10 October 2019 it served
the writ of summons issued by the Supreme Court of Western Australia on each of the
defendants. Spectrum and its subsidiary, Zebra Minerals, were served at the registered office
of those companies at 1.41pm on Thursday, 10 October 2019.

All of the defendants have now “appeared” to the Court proceedings, which means that they
have submitted to the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court of Western Australia. The next stage
is for the parties to prepare, file at the Court and provide to each other their statements of
claim and defence (which documents are not public).
Venus Metals has written to the Court yesterday and requested that the matter be entered in
the Court’s “Commercial and Managed Cases” list to ensure that it progresses efficiently and
without delay.
