Your technical analaysis is commendable. But what about fundamentals such as supply/demand? Central bank intervention, Dubai influence. But most of all:

$1 trillion of fiat money created by US fed in last 12 months?

And: discontinuation of M3 money figures announced November 10. Anybody with half a brain (and that means me) can come to no other conclusion than that the US Fed doesn't want people to know how much electronic money they are having to create. Check out the gold price from shortly after that date and I believe it tells a story.
