I think the price surge could be related to some comments by LATAM 360 CEO Ricardo Frechou in a talk that @maxkieh posted in Media Thread.
Reading between the lines, the relationship between 360 LATAM and their FDV owners, which Ricardo dubs "private equity" "aussies" seems a bit strained. Seems like 360 LATAM want to grow bigger than the ASX capital pool will sustain - got to admit FDV was getting no love, til just recently.
And so Ricardo is talking about wanting to float 360 LATAM on north american markets in 2025, seeking a "10x revenue" valuation, vs the "2x revenue" he claims to be getting inside FDV on the ASX. Not sure if all this was cleared with Shaun beforehand
Anyway, do the math on a $US listing$...
Im not sure how such deal would be structured, but I hope it could be done in a way that capital gains tax friendly for us aussie "private equitieers".
