whenever the LSE goes crazy, the buyers on the ASX line up before the market opens and then the big boys come along and dump hundreds of thousands of shares. its happened a lot in the past week.
btw - when a piece of news does come out e.g the resource update, FTE ususally gets sold down something shocking.
