Im happy hanging on past .75!
Of course its true that there is a changing landscape in press with less original reporting across the board and more reliance on wire services for content (which is replication some clients don't want)..so falling clipping numbers there. Then there is the pressure from Meltwater and Streem and they have lost a few clients over the side...but when you consider all that, the business is holding up incredibly well. There has always been competition in the market so thats nothing new, they had a stronger position but they are holding their own now and winning back contracts...so back to normal ebb and flow I think. The reduction in clip volumes is being offset by the rise in social media coverage and Ed Harrison and the IT team are well placed to deliver products in that space that will drive the volume forward. Additionally the footprint in Asia is a huge growth opportunity that has yet to be realised...so yes a changing landscape as a result of structural pressures but a fundamentally sound business with good growth potential...IMO.
