Tax season in mid November? I don't think "big players" are really offloading their stock. There's hardly any volume going around outside of the green candle a couple weeks ago. Judging from said volume, it's probably some disgruntled retail holders with very small holdings getting washed out at 5 year lows.
Economic outlook, recession etc has been the narrative in retail for a while now and at this point, I think it's fair to say that it's all priced in. What I'm disappointed with is that both Torrid and even the XRT ETF are rallying. Markets are forward looking but supposedly has tunnel vision here.
Really, there's just not much interest in City Chic atm. Market (myself included) would love an update with how the business is going and perhaps even some guidance. Hoping we get some update before the end of the CY.
