I wish to lift the veil and clarify that the holding of HSBC Custody Nominees (Australia) Limited acts as a holder of shares on behalf of various beneficial holders, including Platinum Investment Management Limited who just announced they increased their holdings in Kazia to 9,078,948 shares as at 8 April 2020.
HSBC also holds on behalf of Bank Of New York Mellon (they are the custodians for the ADRs which are traded on the Nasdaq). BNY Mellon announced that on 3 April 2020 that their holdings in KAZIA were 21,426,439 shares (the US holding represents 29.69%).
Rikki you were right, and Boro Boy in Oz you were correct to clarify my post.
