    On http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui the charts are quite strong as to why:

    1. On a weekly $GOLD chart, the POG has risen above the 50 day moving average (DMA)

    At the same time

    2. On a daily $GOLD chart, the 50 DMA has just crossed the 100 DMA line to the upside.

    I feel these are bullish signs
