Stamler has been quite slow in publishing anything. He has only one paper on ATH434, Nov 2021 during these 7 (?) years. The ape study has not yet been published. None of the preclinical studies they have told in the annual report have been published, not even as an abstract in any meeting. The peer-reviewed papers do not need to be published when presented to the FDA.
I believe we will hear something about the 201 study results in the AAN meeting and something very general in the abstracts published a couple of weeks before the meeting, perhaps in 5-6 weeks. AAN meeting is too soon to announce a partner deal, IMO but they can present more results of the 201 study as a poster.
I hope that the old Prana team ( Masters, Bush, Adlard, Ayton, Bush, Finkelstein, Barnham ) will team up for an AD study for ATH. It is evident that the old PBT2 patent deal with Masters is not making progress with any Big pharma, but now something like that could have possibilities. ATH434 is today a much stronger candidate than PBT2 to treat AD. But in AD science the old team is much stronger, Stamler needs them to get ATH434 for an AD study sponsored by Big Pharma.
All this comes back to finding a Big pharma partner to sponsor both PD and AD studies for ATH. Stamler will be busy for the next few months.
