I don't know who taught you Hebrew pronunciation, but a Dalet followed by a Yud with a single dot below the Dalet is pronounced Di as in Diyenu. **********************************************
The word is....Dah .....which means..Know.....Know before whom you stand.
And re the informers....it goes on to say that there is....no....hope......you left out the word...no.
A daled followed by a yud with a chriik underneath would be di.....but the word in Hebrew is ....as in on any ark in every synagogue....maybe the exceptin might be Temple.....the word is a daled...followed by an Aleph......which makes it....dah......(know in English.)
