Brand names are for prestige purposes
This helps in partnering arrangements ,use of an international network and are good for the money markets
But Resap will pay large audit fees and large fees for other services for the privilege
Auditors usually do not voluntary resign and they need to convince ASIC that they are not resigning because of anything untoward that they have not disclosed in the last audit report
Conversely Brand name firms do not want to get embroiled in bad publicity

At the AGM TK said there was only a small difference in fees. Didn't say which direction though.
