This announcement is just delivered through the ASX process so that the market can be informed following whatever ASX rules are applicable for delivery via stock market platforms.

The ASX has absolutely no input to what a company can announce. Companies just fill in the correct form to the format required and conforming to the ASX rules and especially those that relate to full and continuous disclosure.
