Fish ain't fish! Barra ain't barra!
As a consumer one must be a tad careful!
Barramundi can be a beautiful fish to eat.
If it is wild caught in salt water - beautiful!
If it is farmed salt water- still pretty good.
Wild caught fresh water - pretty yukky.
Farmed fresh water barra - filthy!
Vietnam and Thailand FW farmed barra - filthy.
And you thought Barramundi was an Aussie fish - Wrong!
It almost all comes from Asia now!
