Correct, UCLs counter offer is basically survival but unfortunately the timing for them is the worst possible. I have no doubt this is an opportunistic move by MAK. Nothing immoral about it though, thats business and UCL have left themselves open because they have laid there whole business plan on a minority stake in a potential but risky resource.
Learnt this lesson a long time ago with a company called Greater Pacific. Great contacts, some nice relationships with much larger organisations, great potential resources, but only a mniority holding and got screwed.
Only interested in those with majority ownership.
