Susan Baker is a skilled Human Resources professional bringing over 20 years of experience in her field. Susan is passionate about mentoring and developing individuals and strives to continuously enhance her knowledge of current employment laws of California and of the Federal government. Susan is a strong advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and in her past employment was successful in bringing a large equity adjustment which helped in the retention and employment of a large and diverse workforce. Prior to joining 5E Advanced Materials, Susan built and managed a team of 22 HR professionals in talent management and employee relations at General Atomics. Ms. Baker has had a diverse career ranging from Vice President and co-owner of an Industrial Heating business to an extensive career in the retail space as a District Employee Relations Manager.

Susan holds a master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology (MIOP) from Sacred Heart University and a master’s degree in Organizational Development from Azusa Pacific University.
