Lolzzz,
the difference is quite huge!
The difference is the thicker the coal seam is, the lower the production cost is.
The difference there is more billions tonnes of recoverable coal.
The difference is such huge resource would attract global resource major's investment intention, you know BG invested $50 Billion just for the QLD coal seam gas.
10 billion coal resource, once successful, could attract $1-3 billion takeover bid, but 1.2 billion tonne cannot.
The difference is 18 billion tonnes of thermal coal can make NSL be global share market focus, but 1.2 billion tonne cannot.
The difference is if 1 tonne inground coal is worth 10c, NSL will be worth $1.8 Billion.
The difference is 18 billion can attract $200-500m investment just to form a JV agreement, 1.2 billion tonne cannot.
Anyway, it's too early for us to discuss this huge potential when you considering the port capacity.
Thanks for your comment, cheers!
