Alpha
SGB are a great company and doing it well. But look at the caps. NAB is a monolith in Australian terms and they have to take their size into consideration. In terms of strategy you could (I said 'could') say that SGB is a niche player and they are using their advantage in text book fashion - and good on them. All I am saying is that NAB has a unique position in terms of strategic opportunity. It is contingent on how the CEO and the board handle the current situation and opportunity.
