Shortman is not exact.
1. 4 days behind for available info (from memory) - check next week for update.
2. Providing short info from brokers is not mandatory. Some type of honor system.
I made the assumption that the recent increase in shorts and today's spike naturally leads to the shorts getting burnt. Tell me different?
