In country areas, if the ACCC declare Telstras mobile network open this might make it impossible for TLS to compete on price. If TLS need to carry the cost of investment (having built the network), and have a bigger business (higher staffing costs) they could easily be undercut by smaller, leaner players.
One might think the country doesn't matter due to population but in WA and QLD Telstra owns the business mobile & data sector because you have mining & resources related industries that need to use their mob & laptops when the plane lands in the country.
Only TLS can deliver that right now, but if others can jump on the TLS regional network it will end the TLS domination of business and it could put a big dent in the bottom line IMHO.
