I'm using this dip as an opportunity to move some of my holdings across to my Family Trust.

As I can't see this one going on for longer than 12 months any shares purchased from Dec 08 onwards (including those recently purchased which are currently at a loss) will be transferred to the Trust - triggering a CGT event, but with losses incurred on recently purchased parcels assisting to lower CGT exposure in my own name.

Will hold onto remainder purchased pre-December 08 as they are subject to the 50% discount if they stay in my own name.

The gains made from this week's price until T/O (cash T/O that is) will eventually be distributed to family at lower tax rates, with the remainder therefore assessable at a maximum 30% in the bucket company.
