If it hadn't been for 'criminal' resettlement, had this country been completely cut off and isolated from the rest of the world for the last few hundred years, it's *earlier* migrants who walked across to Australia when sea levels were lower would still be living under the trees with no mod-cons (ha!) or intellectual stimulation and quite frankly, NOBODY here would be having this conversation as there would be no electricity or internet...
Whatever.
If you go back far enough even the Aboriginals were immigrants. Endless cycles of people claiming advantage as they were first and trying to shut the door on others.
What is needed is a royal commission into establishing the first ambulatory lifeforms in Australia and only direct descendants of THAT are truly native!!
