At risk of feeding the speculation machine, the 03 Nov asx statement denying the take over was in reference to an article in the Australian that suggested private equity firm PAG was running the ruler over RFG.
That same company (PAG) was in a 2019 AFR article indicating it was the main company looking to buy Crust off RFG.
Most likely useless info, but the trades are interesting
