Why would major shareholders, and people who are already very wealthy give a hoot about minute directors fees (which they aren't even taking)?, or do anything other than try to materially raise the SP? *Rhetorical question* - they wouldn't.

You misread my comment, as it referred to mining explorers generally.... lots more fail than make it, and yes plenty pay themselves well and raise money from us the Shareholders...thats the way it works !
