You just have to have an understanding of companies that have the potential to do 100%… Not as hard as you think.. Many spec companies have huge potential, are cashed up, resources already proven, certain sectors will never fall on there butt.. So if you do your research you and get committed you can achieve just over a million dollars with $500… thing is, don’t lose sight.

Tax man becomes an issue though, however there are loop holes ;).. Just go for the 12th to pay of the taxman so your still left with a mil… is it far-fetched and dreamy?
I would say when you have turned $500 into the likes of $100,000 you will get nervous…
Now is this impossible, hell no… I think it’s not that hard if you’re in no hurry…
Perfect ones to jump on are those that do SPP’s, wait for it to come to its closing dates, usually the SP falls lower then the SPP… when the companies get there dollars for what ever reason you should see a nice gain in the SP… 100% never seems unrealistic in due time, usually the SPP was done in order to achieve something substantial for the company and to provide shareholders with excellent return… but when you’ve got your 100%, take it, move on… take your time, look for another 100% opportunity… so what if it takes you 5 years or more… 11 times isn’t that much… personally if you were a good trader you should have achieved this easy this year with gold plays alone…
Any way, sounds easier then it is, but very doable… just don’t lose sight of the goal… when you start getting to the big bucks you will need to invest in more grounded companies with less risk… I wouldn’t hesitate to put half a million on the likes of FMG or alike, 100% from there current price will happen one day IMO.. And lets face it some companies can easily absorb those kind of dollars…
Any way, thought I would put that out there, doesn’t seem impossible does it… gives some hope I would say… thing is, do you have the gonads to take it that far, cause your putting all your money in one basket in the end… however, remember you only started with $500…
