Meanwhile the Greens are preparing to admonish the Govt for a lack of ambition on emissions reductions.
I'm tempted to agree, but I also accept that the 43% reduction is within reason and their planning, which, according to Labs, is the result of their pre-election planning and budgeting so that there is a theoretical certainty of achievement of the minimum target.
and Dutton has gone on record saying the Libs will oppose the 43% reduction target, which some Lib Party Room members are upset about because they have yet to discuss this target in the Party Room - they've been effectively frozen out of the discussion! so much for democracy.
my rating of Libs = 1/10... given 1 point for Dutton going on the record with his opposition Greens = 1/10... as usual letting the good be the enemy of perfect Nats = 0/10... where the hell are they? still boozing it up at the Tamworth Hotel?
Labs = 5/10... too long a delay in getting PH functioning again as a sitting House. this is a major problem. PH should have sat within 30 days of the election result.
