Firsova another company NKP was suspended for some time last year and they put out those statements. Knowing them if they hadn't needed to I dont think they would have. I dont think there is anything the ASX can do you are already suspended but it could really negatively affect your relationship in the future - something I think all companies try to avoid.
So i think you are required to make those announcements so I suppose 31 October is a logical date for a whole lot of information.
