The point of having a call back system is that the general public can stop a dictatorship in it's tracks

We have just had an out of control Labor Party for the last few years with no way of stopping it, if Abbott goes off the rails with a demoralized and broken Labor Party there will be likewise no way of stopping him.

As we have just had the G G who was a political appointee and is the Mother in Law of the current Leader Of the Opposition how do you expect that to work?

Unless the GG is appointed by the people there will be no way that they can do anything to stop an errant government
