Hence the saying, 'land is an asset, a house is a liability'.
Now land in many areas needs to get back to where it should be historically, in relation to wages.
We also have all those ridiculous, tacky mansions with a couple of people living in them, just like the US.
I'm looking for a small home, 2x1 will do, built to a high standard of finish and design, passive solar, low maintenance and constructed to last. On at least 1/2 an acre in or near a country town. Apparently they don't exist?
