    Just to clear it up Meerkat/Novac:

    There is thought to be a techtonic fault between the old 110 and the old 469, creating two traps. #201 twinned the 110, 400m south west. Studies undertaken by Hawkley suggest that remaining reserves in well 469 are just less than 700 MMSCF and 13,500 barrels of condensate, and are considered too few to justify twinning the 469 well.

    The plan for Sorochynska is to now aim for the B24-25 horizons - obviously not in close physical proximity to #201. The optimal location for a gas plant depends on where your wells are, and where you want to tap into the main Magistral pipeline system.

    So, you're both right: There's no point building a gas plant without considering where your wells are, but on the other hand it would be high time that we received an update on Sorochynska 2's drilling programme. I wonder if they're waiting to see what happens in Chenytska before deciding on future drills.
