Molonski what the boomers have handed Gen Y is instructions to live within the 'consensus trance' that this standard of living can be taken for granted. When the actual reality is that it is under great threat from primarily depleting oil and gas fields, and consequently from that a likely period of inflation (or even stagflation or even worse hyperinflation) I cannot ever see ending. Not unless you find another source of cheap and abundant energy and very quickly. Baby boomers had it easy from the perspective you had the assumption of cheap oil built into life. That has now gone! And some of the predictions of this energy deficient future quite frankly are both scary and realistic.
