I have only just become aware that this is not Caprice's first campdraft at the Island project and that back in 2020-21 a whole different team at Caprice got all gooey about some of the hits they were getting there.

It will be interesting to see what the "maiden" MRE they come up with seeing they are only going to include the top cover of the New Orient pit (in which case would any of these results be included?).
And just for comparison here are the standout assay results from the first 10 holes that were drilled late last year. Not too dissimilar to my untrained eye.
To finish up about the 2020-21 drilling campaign it seems that by the end of 2021 it had petered out and that iteration of management had moved the caravan onto the next shiny thing. Don't think COVID or the relatively low gold price (A$2,600 back then) killed off 2021's version of the Island dream, more to do with a lack of luck with the drill-bit, it seems. Fingers crossed this time: never never say never.
