would you rather Aus kept to being the dirt pit for China and even grow less food so we can dig more coal?
As I suggested - Australia should play to its strengths and value add and process what it digs out of the ground. I don't think we are in a position to take on China in main line manufacturing as we are far too expensive in terms of labour and energy costs.
I think developing a nuclear industry is a good start to creating a good energy foundation for the future
