JH has mentioned on a number of occasions that Gas resources will be built to the point that expenditure on new pipelines or connection to existing pipelines is economically feasiable.
Yes there are logistical problems but these will be overcome as and when inventories are large enough to absord the costs. I recall JH said this was mid term i.e 2 to 5 years.
As for building roads CTP have done a great job building or upgrading access roads to all its drill sites. Quite a few semis are needed to relocate the rig each time. I cant see an issue in upgrading/maintaining roads to allow fuel road trains to keep moving 24/7 if required.
For any major oil discovery I would assume that trucking would be first/quickest transport option for early monitisation. Obviously CTP would assess production volumes and reserves and would then build a more permanent pipeline if required.
