Interesting FYI and EGR are following ASX:ATC / SGL Carbo's HPA coating of graphite.
The following is from ATC's presentation, it shows the benefits of coating graphite with HPA. Well worth watching some of their video presentations to get a better understanding, HPA also reduces thermal run away when the battery is punctured and assists in thermal management.
