The Newspoll shows Barnaby’s scandal has impacted and the Labor lead has extended to 53/47. The poll also reveals two clear outcomes. The first is :
That 65% of respondents believe Barnaby Joyce should resign as leader of the Nationals.
This signals that Turnbull has done the right thing to point to the disgraceful conduct of Joyce.
The second is:
That One Nation bouncing back three points after a recent slump to 8%. This aligns with my recent posts that Barnaby will cause coalition conservative family oriented voters to move to PHON or Cory Bernardi conservatives.
It used to be Abbott that was the gift to Labor but now Barnaby has created such a stink for the Coaltion Labor can simply slip into cruise mode. If Barnaby goes maybe that over time will change.
