However there is now strong evidence that significant global warming is occurring. The evidence comes from direct measurements of rising surface air temperatures and subsurface ocean temperatures and from phenomena such as increases in average global sea levels, retreating glaciers, and changes to many physical and biological systems. It is likely that most of the warming in recent decades can be attributed to human activities (IPCC 2001)." (2005, 11 international science academies)10”

Those who deny the well-established science of global warming and climate change do so because they want to, because they erroneously their opinion about what gives is worth way more than all the scientific evidence.
The way they trash science is to lie, deny facts, cherry pick data, nit pick anything that moves, highlight and amplify short term data noise and ignore the more important long term data trends. Some deniers waste everyone’s time by posting about record cold weather somewhere as though this has any meaning, which of course it doesn’t.
In using these techniques to cast doubt on the science of global warming and climate change, they reveal to all their limited understanding of what they’re actually talking about. They are in short frauds, specialising only in woo.
